While everyone around him ages, Dorian Gray (John Fraser) maintains the age at which artist Basil Hallward (Louis Hayward) painted his portrait. Convinced of his immortality, Dorian, under the tutelage of a charismatic and cynical hedonist, Lord Henry (George C. Scott), begins a life of indulgence and moral decay. Scandalous love affairs, cruelty, and, finally murder reshape his life. When repentance finally comes, Dorian thinks it time for him to confront the long ago hidden portrait. What he see is a shocking look into his destiny and soul.
